Bianca Castro-Arabejo, known to fans as Jiggly Caliente, has sadly passed away at the age of 44. The announcement came from her family shortly after she suffered a significant health crisis, which included the loss of a major part of her leg. She died peacefully in the early hours of April 27, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

In the days leading up to her passing, her family shared on social media that Caliente faced a severe health decline due to a serious infection that required hospitalization. This unexpected event resulted in the loss of most of her right leg.

The family expressed their heartbreak, stating: “We are heartbroken to share that over the last month Bianca has experienced a serious health setback.” They indicated that her recovery would be extensive and that she would not be appearing in the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines.

Caliente rose to fame on the fourth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race in 2011, quickly becoming a beloved figure in the drag community. She later served as a judge on Drag Race Philippines for three successful seasons. Her vibrant personality, humor, and genuine connection with fans left a lasting impact on many.

As her family noted in their statement: “A luminous presence in the worlds of entertainment and advocacy, Jiggly Caliente was celebrated for her infectious energy, fierce wit, and unwavering authenticity.” They emphasized her role in creating a space of love and courage within the LGBTQ+ community.
