The recall specifically affects a single lot of the SinuCleanse Soft Tip Squeeze Bottle Nasal Wash System. Testing revealed the presence of the bacterium Staphylococcus aureus, commonly referred to as ‘staph.’
This type of contamination poses serious health risks, particularly for users whose nasal mucosa may be inflamed or otherwise compromised. Potentially severe infections could arise from using this contaminated product. Luckily, no adverse reactions have been reported to the company as of now.

The affected item is packaged in a carton that includes a squeeze bottle along with 30 saline packets.
