Upon reviewing surveillance footage, police noticed a vehicle that appeared to be backing off the off-ramp. The driver was seen exiting the vehicle and heading towards the crash site, where several items had been scattered across the road due to a previous roll-over involving a tractor-trailer.
The quick response of the Connecticut State Police allowed them to locate the driver, identified as 51-year-old Marcus King. Investigators reported finding numerous items belonging to the rolled-over truck in his possession.
