LONG ISLAND – Authorities on Long Island are actively seeking assistance from the public in locating Petros Krommidas, a Democratic candidate for the Nassau County legislature, who has been unaccounted for since April 23.

Krommidas, 29, was last spotted in Baldwin, New York. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a camouflage sweatshirt paired with gray sweatpants. His current whereabouts are believed to be near the Long Beach area.
