Augusta National Golf Club actively encourages visitors to disconnect from their devices. Instead, they can turn to the provided public telephones, which harken back to an earlier time.

Though some might find the absence of a cellphone inconvenient, many attendees appreciate the chance to unplug, even if just temporarily. As one visitor aptly put it, “Is not having a phone a pain? No, I think it’s actually good for me. Those emails will be there when I get back home.”
