Tragic Fire Claims Two Lives at North Bergen Senior Living Facility
NORTH BERGEN, NJ – In a devastating incident early Thursday morning, two residents lost their lives in a fire that erupted in a high-rise building serving seniors in North Bergen, New Jersey.

The fire commenced around 1:30 a.m. within a unit located on the building’s 10th floor. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze in approximately 30 minutes; however, two victims—a man aged 88 and a woman aged 77—were discovered in the very unit where the fire began. Tragically, both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The fire has since displaced occupants from 17 units within the facility. Local authorities have arranged for assistance from the Red Cross, providing help to residents who need to be relocated.
