What to Do If You’ve Lost Something
If you’ve misplaced an item during an Uber ride, follow these steps to report it:
- Open the Uber app and tap on “Activity” in the bottom menu.
- Select the trip during which you lost your item.
- Scroll to “Find Lost Item” in the “Help” section, then select “Contact Driver About Lost Item.”
- Choose the item you lost from the list and indicate where it might be in the vehicle.
- Provide your phone number for the driver to contact you.
- If the driver finds your item, arrange a time and place to retrieve it.
- If there’s no response, leave a voicemail with details about the item and your contact method.
