Police Investigate Assault on Young Boy at Queens Subway Station

The assailant reportedly pushed a seven-year-old boy to the ground before brandishing a knife and making threats against the child and his mother.

The alarming event took place around 12:40 PM on Sunday, February 23, on the F train platform at the 21st Street-Queensbridge subway station located in Long Island City.

According to investigators, the confrontation began when the suspect approached the mother and her son. The attacker physically shoved the young boy to the ground. When the boy’s mother confronted the assailant, the individual retaliated by pushing the boy in the face once again. Subsequently, the suspect displayed a knife before fleeing the scene.
