New York City celebrated the rise of sustainable transportation with its first-ever Electric Vehicle (EV) Parade along Fifth Avenue. Featuring over 200 EVs, from Teslas to Rivians, the event showcased the latest innovations in clean transportation.
“This parade is a celebration of progress,” said Governor Kathy Hochul, who attended the event. “It’s proof that New Yorkers are embracing a cleaner, greener future.”
The parade also included e-bikes, scooters, and electric buses, highlighting efforts to reduce emissions across all modes of transportation. Officials hope the event will inspire more residents to adopt EVs as part of the city’s climate goals.
